APU Qualifies to the Championship Round at CME Group World Trading Challenge!!

CME Group's World Trading Challenge is a complimentary four-week electronic trading competition where teams of undergraduate and graduate students can trade a variety of CME Group products from multiple asset classes in a simulated trading environment on a real-time professional trading platform provided by the company, CQG.

The Trading Challenge is a unique chance for students to learn hands on techniques for trading futures. A total of 390 teams participated this year from all around the world with only 11 universities participating from Malaysia. Top 10% of the teams proceed from the Preliminary Round to the Championship Round.

The APU team bearing the name Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation Forex Traders consisting of Team Leader; Li Kien Wong and the team; Muhammad Talha, Jo Anne Wong, Shuya An, Yee Chee Liang with their Faculty Advisors; Mr. Owen Chan Ling Foon, Mr. Suresh Kumar and Mr. Muhammad Umar Islam under the School of Accounting, Finance and Quantitative Studies, has successfully qualified to the Championship Round through equity trading.
