Students Learn How to Solve Problems in a Workplace

As a student who is required to multi-task between studies, extra-curricular activities and personal life, an individual has to be capable of solving problems effectively and efficiently. Ms. Bawani Pathmanathan from the Asia Pacific Language Centre (APLC) has conducted a workshop exclusively for APU students, to share the knowledge and skills required to solve problems effectively and efficiently in the workplace.

More than 20 students attended the workshop, as Ms Bawani introduced some skills and techniques which enable students to identify problems, solve problems and overcome difficulties effectively. Group activities took place as well, and students explored their own possibilities and capabilities while communicating within the group. It was indeed a beneficial session for students; hopefully the skills learnt are able to help them to cope with the tasks and pressures at work in the future.
