Ann Yeong Ha Se Yo - From Korea to Malaysia!

In conjunction with the summer break in Korea, a group of 76 Korean students and professors who came from Gachon University, Dong Kang College and Daejeon University, arrived in Malaysia to participate in the English Summer Camp programme at APU. Most of them were about to experience their first visit to Malaysia, a country which has unique culture, language and climate that are completely different from their home country.

In order ensure that the students and professors experience their most out of the Malaysian culture, APU staff and Student Ambassadors played the role of tour guides on the 19th of July (Saturday), as they brought our Korean guests around KL and Putrajaya for a one-day tour. Among the places visited were our major tourism attractions such as the Royal Palace, Putra Mosque and Petronas Twin Towers. It was an exciting tour, as it can be seen from the smiles on the faces of the Korean students, despite being exposed to the unbearably hot weather.

Other than going for tours, the Korean students will also be having their English classes at the Asia Pacific Language Centre (APLC) during weekdays, to benefit the most out of this English Summer Camp. Coming up next, they will also be expecting a tour to Malaysia's most historical city, Malacca.
