Search & Destroy Dengue

On the 28th of February 2015 (Saturday), a total of 49 APU students from School of Business and Management participated in a community Program called ‘Search and Destroy Dengue’,  organised by Ministry of Health (District of Petaling) alongside Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya, headed by the President of MPSJ, YDP Dato Norhisyam Bin Ahmad Dahlan and Dr. Roslan, Director of Health Department, MPSJ.

Students from Level 1 and 2 participated in this Program which took place in Taman Wawasan, Puchong. This program provided our students with a glimpse of what is Corporate Social Responsibility and more importantly, the power of teamwork. Our students put in a lot of effort and showed excellent teamwork and cooperation assisting the Health and Municipal officers in inspecting the residential areas whilst also educating the residents on the methods of Dengue prevention. This caught the attention of the YDP who has promised to invite APU students for their future programs.

The officers also praised the sense of responsibility of our students and gave a "Thumbs Up" to all of them who had sacrificed their time and effort toward the success of this event. Congratulations and good job to the students and staff who participated in this project!
