This programme is specifically designed to provide:

  • Advanced skills and techniques in artificial intelligence
  • Research opportunities to solve meaningful industrial problems with artificial intelligence techniques
  • Advanced research opportunities in artificial intelligence in preparation for doctoral studies.

Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computing with a minimum CGPA of 2.75; OR

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in computing with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 but not meeting CGPA of 2.75 can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment process; OR

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in computing with CGPA less than 2.50 and a minimum of 5 years working experience in a relevant field may be accepted.

  • Note: For candidates without a Computing Degree, prerequisite modules in computing will be offered to adequately prepare them for their advanced study.

  • Evidence of satisfactory English language skills is required for candidates where English is not their first language, such as IELTS 6.0 or above or TOEFL 550 or above.

Project Paper

You will be expected to conduct effective research in relation to Artificial Intelligence for both academic and industry purposes. Either route will require you to plan and conduct effective academic research, and produce one academic paper, consultancy report or academic paper in relation to an aspect of Artificial Intelligence.
