We are thrilled to announce that our APU Cricket Team was crowned champions in 2 tournaments that were held earlier this month!

Firstly, under the leadership of Shaunvinder Singh, the team championed the “10th Kajang SCA International Cricket Sixes 2018" held at Kinrara International Cricket Ground on the first week of February 2018. It was indeed a great leap towards success for the APU Cricket Team, who fought 12 International Teams to reach the finals and win the championship. Star players of the team, Azwar & Zubair won the best “Best Batsmen” and the “Best Bowler” awards respectively as well.

In addition, within the same week, the team also championed the “APU-SUNWAY Cricket Series Championship", that was arranged under the T10 and T20 formats with 5 Matches. APU team won the series; in addition, Asif, Usman & Faisual from our team were crowned the Man of the Match winners.

Huge congratulations to the team, we are absolutely proud of them! Credit also goes to the team Advisors, Leo Gertrude, Edwin Pio Rufus and Arun Seeralan, who have been working meticulously to prepare the team ready for the tournament, as well as leading APUCC towards the path of glory, under the supervision of Illangovan Thirumal, Sports Development Executive. We look forward to hearing more good news from the team!
