The Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) has once again been recognised for its excellence in shaping highly employable, future-ready graduates, earning the prestigious Employers’ Choice of University 2026 award by Talentbank. 

This marks the third consecutive year that APU has stood out in Talentbank’s national survey of leading employers, reinforcing its strong reputation for delivering graduates who are not only job-ready but equipped to thrive in a rapidly evolving global workforce.

Officially announced at the Talentbank Graduate Employability Awards & Raya Open House held on 11 April 2026 at the Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, the accolade was received on stage by Chief Executive Officer Datuk Parmjit Singh, accompanied by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Ho Chin Kuan, with the Senior Leadership Team in attendance to witness the milestone achievement. 

Widely regarded as Malaysia’s leading authority in graduate employability and employer benchmarking, Talentbank collaborates closely with universities, industry partners and the Ministry of Higher Education to generate data-driven insights that shape workforce development. APU’s continued recognition through this platform reflects a deep alignment between its academic ecosystem and the evolving needs of industry.

Further underscoring its employability strength, APU programmes were awarded the prestigious Talentbank 6-Star Employer Choice rating across a broad spectrum of disciplines, including Computing & IT, Actuarial Science, Analytics, Animation, Banking, Business Management, Event Management, Finance, Games Design & Development, Human Resource Management, and Mechatronic Engineering. 

These distinctions highlight the University’s ability to cultivate multidisciplinary talent equipped with both technical proficiency and adaptive, future-focused competencies.

APU’s leadership in talent development is further demonstrated by its #1 ranking among universities in Computing & IT and Games Design & Development, as well as its position as Champion in Computing & IT for five consecutive years from 2022 to 2026. 

In addition, the University has been recognised as a preferred choice among employers for large-scale graduate recruitment in Analytics, Business Management, Computing & IT, and Finance, and has earned Employer Choice recognition from multinational corporations (MNCs) in Computing & IT.
