Accelerating Digital Talent-Drive in Malaysia – APU Appointed as CASUGOL Platinum Academic Partner


In accelerating the development of digital talents and supporting Malaysia’s digital transformation efforts, a Premier Digital Tech Institution in the country – Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), announced its new working tie with CASUGOL, Singapore.

 Recently ranked top 2.2% in the QS World University Ranking 2024 as a tech-based university, APU will be CASUGOL’s Platinum Academic Partner to nurture digital talents in Malaysia with the latest skills and knowledge required to excel in the digital economy.

CASUGOL is a Singapore-based international certification body offering programmes in digital transformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, Cyber Security, and emerging technologies.

In this newly established strategic collaboration inked on 27th June 2023 to accelerate the development of digital talents for digital transformation, APU will play a vital role in providing comprehensive training programmes and certification programmes designed by CASUGOL.

The said programmes are structured based on the latest industry best practices and trends for APU’s students, staff, and professionals in the field of Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, Cyber Security, and Emerging Technology.

Both parties will work towards a commitment that makes education, knowledge, and resources accessible to everyone.

Through this collaboration, APU and CASUGOL aim to empower students, professionals, and organisations in Malaysia with the necessary digital skills to navigate the rapidly evolving technological landscape.

This partnership is also expected to contribute to Malaysia’s pipeline of digital talents, support the nation’s digital transformation agenda and drive sustainable economic growth.

Commenting on the working ties established, APU’s School of Computing (SoC) Head Associate Professor Dr. Tan Chin Ike stated, “I am excited for the School to partner with CASUGOL.
