World Congress on Computing and Information Technology (WCIT 2014) @ APU

We are pleased to inform you that Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU) is hosting the World Congress on Computing and Information Technology (WCIT 2014) from 18th- 20th Mar 2014. The World Congress on Computing and Information Technology 2014 brings international experts from all around the globe to discuss latest issues and solutions in the field.


For the very first time, this event consists of Seven concurrent conferences; namely The International Conference on Technologies and Business on the Web (EBW2014),The International Conference on Technological Advances in Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering (TAEECE2014), The Second International Conference on Green Computing, Technology and Innovation (ICGCTI2014), The International Conference on Game-Theory, Development, and Applications (ICGTDA2014), The Fourth International Conference on Digital Information Processing and Communications (ICDIPC2014), and The International Conference on Computer Security and Digital Investigation (ComSec2014).

This huge cross-disciplinary event provides unique opportunities for researchers and practitioners to not only discuss latest trends in their field of expertise but expose to latest developments in neighboring related fields. It is expected that more than 100 research papers and tools would be presented along with three keynote speeches and several tutorial sessions.  This year keynote speakers are Prof. Dr. Katrin Franke of Gjøvik University College, Norway delivering a speech titled “Computational Forensics: Forensic Investigations in Cyberspace – what about big data?”, Dr. Raymond Y.K. Lau from City University of Hong Kong delivering a talk titled “Towards an Information Theory Based Methodology for the Quality Assessment of Online Comments” , and Prof. Dr. Eyas El-Qawasmeh. King ,Saudi University, Saudi Arabia talking about “Are we Secure Enough?”


WCIT 2014 would be a joint effort between APU, The Society of Digital Information and Wireless Communications (SDIWC), Technical University of Lodz-Poland, Expomap, and Hackin9 magazine. All papers will be published in SDIWC Digital Library and selected papers would be invited for publication in international journals. Further details are available on http://sdiwc.net.
