STUDENTS from Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) got together for a cultural night dubbed “Vasakhi Di Raat” recently.

The event was organised by the Asia Pacific Punjabi Cultural Society.

There were performances by APU students and lecturers while local acts “Shan-E-Punjab” and “Dhol INC” also entertained the over 180 guests present. A lucky draw was also held with attractive prizes up for grabs.

“The students put in a lot of work to organise this event and this is something encouraged by APU,” said the society’s adviser Sharen Kaur.

“It was an incredible night. I have been attending this event for the past three years and I loved every moment; the dancing, the music, the food and especially the multi-cultural crowd,” said former student and art director at My EZ Life Sdn Bhd Noory Taha Mansor.

Present to lend their support were APU senior management including chief executive officer Datuk Parmjit Singh and vice-president of operations Gurpardeep Singh.
