The student clubs, societies and associations of UCTI and APIIT recently organized and celebrated the RED campaign at the Technology Park Malaysia campus at Bukit Jalil.

The student clubs, societies and associations come under the banner of the Student ARC (Student Activities and Recreation Council), and is very well-represented, reflecting the diverse student body at UCTI and APIIT.

RED, which stands for Recruitment Drive, was a week-long string of events that saw student association members putting up booths, performances and games to attract and recruit new students of the March 2008 intake, for the various clubs. In addition to the in-house festivities, vendors and merchandisers were also invited to promote their wares, adding to the carnival-like atmosphere at the magnificent foyer of the main campus. The Hitz.fm cruisers also made a pit-stop at the campus, with loads of giveaways and hilarious games for the students to participate in and win prizes.

Among the clubs, societies and associations that participated in the RED campaign were the Dance Club, Taekwondo, Futsal, Badminton and many more. The clubs enjoyed a record number of enthusiastic new members during the recruitment drive.
