E-Safe Systems & APU Programming Competition

An award-giving ceremony was held on Wednesday, 1 April 2015 for the e-Safe Systems – APU Programming Competition 2015. We are pleased to announce that Ng Zhi Yong, Level 2 Software Engineering student, stood out as the Champion of the competition and walked away with a cash prize of RM2,000, followed by Atai Bekenov at the Second Place, and Abdullah Obaied and Seyed Mohammed Daneshvar who shared the Third Place. The ceremony was attended by Ian McKinley, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of e-Safe Systems and Dr. Simon, Chief Information Officer (CIO) of e-Safe Systems.

The competition was held at APU on  Monday, 9th March 2015 and was an effort by e-Safe Systems, a world leader in enterprise software, to identify talented students before they graduate. It was a challenging competition which provided the participants a good exposure to different programming languages.

We are proud of our students’ success in this competition, and we look forward for more events of similar nature, which can benefit students in terms of enhancing their skills and knowledge. Congratulations to the winners; and thumbs up to the Organising Committee for the dedication and effort being put in.
