APU and Mission Business Academy Formalise Partnership on Leadership Development


The Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) and Mission Business Academy have solidified their partnership to advance the Programme for Leadership Development through a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA).


Mr. Jeff Sun Xusen (left), CEO of Mission Business Academy with Prof. Dr. Ho Chin Kuan, Vice Chancellor of APU, exchanged the symbolism of MoU and MoA during the official MoU and MoA signing ceremony at APU.

The formalisation took place on 4th September 2023 during an official ceremony hosted at the premises of APU situated in Mranti Park, Bukit Jalil, marking a pivotal milestone in the collaboration between these two institutions.

Mission Business Academy is a corporate management and consulting training centre based in Puchong, Selangor. This strategic partnership aims to uplift executive business education by offering the Executive Master-class of Business Management programme. The initiative is designed to enrich the expertise of corporate leaders and SME owners, thereby elevating the corporate training landscape.

Representing APU, Prof. Dr. Ho Chin Kuan, the Vice Chancellor, signed the documents alongside Mr. Gurpardeep Singh, COO; Prof. Dr. Murali Raman, Deputy Vice Chancellor; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Devinder Kaur, Head of the School of Marketing and Management (SoMM); Mr. Sryee Inthran, Senior Manager of Corporate Training; and Prof. Dr. Mohammad Falahat of SoMM.

Mission Business Academy's CEO, Dr. Jeff Sun Xusen, signed on behalf of his organisation, accompanied by senior directors Mr. Wong Mun How, Mr. Tan Teow Kheng, and Mr. Loo Kean Hoe.


The signatories and senior representatives from both organisations celebrate the strategic ties established. 

Both parties are committed to delivering a robust training curriculum, continuously monitoring programme effectiveness, and recognising the achievements of successful participants through digital badges and certificates.

The partnership will also allocate academic support, mentorship, and access to cutting-edge facilities, ensuring a seamless and enriching learning journey for all enrolled, reflecting the increasing significance of technological acumen in executive decision-making and strategic planning in today's digitised business environment.

Initiated by Prof. Dr. Falahat, this partnership symbolises the synergy of academic excellence and industrial practice, in line with APU’s vision and mission, charting a new territory in professional development and contributing to Malaysia’s overarching educational and economic aspirations.
